UAB vs TROY

What a fun weekend.... Jay had the day off...WooHoo! So while Jay an Julia had a morning full of activities planned, I went wedding dress shopping with Kelsey. We had a great time and saw some beautiful gowns. Kelsey is a bride that knows exactly what she wants so it was a quick/ very successful trip.

This afternoon we went down to Legion Field to watch UAB play Troy. It was SO HOT!!!! We had the best time. She loved dancing when the bands played and watching the cheerleaders (got a future cheerleader on my hands - YAY).

We could not decide what colors to wear (since we were with Troy fans but Jay went to UAB).. so we decided to dress in Auburn colors.

Trip to Atlanta

Jay was on call over Labor Day so Julia, my mom and I went to visit my the Smith's in Atlanta! we had such a great time, I think Julia could have just moved in with her cousins Ella and Jake. It was GORGEOUS weather so we spent most of our time in the back yard playing. Laurie is so much better than I am at taking pictures so we got a few that they were all looking in our general direction. What a great weekend, cant wait to go back with Jay! After the weekend, Mimi took Julia back to Mobile with her for a few days. Thanks mimi for keeping her! I originally thought I would take that time to get some stuff done around the house.... did not happen. Oh well, maybe next time. War Eagle Hey!

Our good friend Kelsey got engaged last weekend!!!! YAY!!! We are so excited for her and look forward to a Spring Wedding.

Jay's 30th Birthday

We celebrated Jay's 30th Birthday August 6th! What better way to spend the weekend with the Savage Family at Dauphin Island. We had the best time playng at the pool, relaxing in the sun, eating great food and playing fun games!
