Jay's 30th Birthday

We celebrated Jay's 30th Birthday August 6th! What better way to spend the weekend with the Savage Family at Dauphin Island. We had the best time playng at the pool, relaxing in the sun, eating great food and playing fun games!

Puppy!

Jay and I had the opportunity to go to Daufuskie Island (Island off Hilton Head) for a week with a group of friends......We had the BEST TIME!!!! There were 4 couples and no kids (although we acted like kids most of the trip). We stayed at Haig Point, which is a gated community on Daufuskie Island. We arrived at Hilton Head, loaded up all our belongings (enough beer and groceries for a week) and then just a 30 minute ferry ride to Haig Point. What a great trip to relax and read a few books!!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

We spent the 4th of July at the beach with the Bindons. Had such a great time at the pool with the kiddos. My friend Josh just got this awesome new camera (I REALLY want one... Jay- are you listening? J/k) and took these pictures of Julia. I had to share, they were really cute.

Jays parents kept Julia last weekend. Jay was presenting a paper so we had a weekend trip to Destin. Had to share this video she took of Julia and her friend Lu Lu. So sweet.

Julia had a Birthday party and Mimi and Granddads house on Saturday, May 8th. Julia had such a great time visiting with all her Mobile friends. She got so may great gifts - no idea where they are going but we will figure that out.

Happy Birthday Julia!

Julia's FIRST BIRTHDAY was Cinco de Mayo! So we had a week long celebration! I can not believe she is a year, but I will save that for another post =). Here are some pictures of her birthday party in Birmingham. We started off the day with a pancake breakfast for the girls (me, julia and lexi). Then we had cupcakes at Julia's daycare! She was so excited that Jay and I were there, she did not even care about the cupcakes. That night we had a little fiesta. Julia had such a great time playing with her friends....more pictures to come from her birthday party in Mobile. This child sure knows how to party!
