More Birthday fun

Julia had a Birthday party and Mimi and Granddads house on Saturday, May 8th. Julia had such a great time visiting with all her Mobile friends. She got so may great gifts - no idea where they are going but we will figure that out.

Happy Birthday Julia!

Julia's FIRST BIRTHDAY was Cinco de Mayo! So we had a week long celebration! I can not believe she is a year, but I will save that for another post =). Here are some pictures of her birthday party in Birmingham. We started off the day with a pancake breakfast for the girls (me, julia and lexi). Then we had cupcakes at Julia's daycare! She was so excited that Jay and I were there, she did not even care about the cupcakes. That night we had a little fiesta. Julia had such a great time playing with her friends....more pictures to come from her birthday party in Mobile. This child sure knows how to party!

Weekend with the Smiths

Fun weekend in ATL! Julia and I went to visit my brother Simon, his wife Laurie, and 2 kids - Ella and Jake last weekend. We hated to leave Jay behind but he was super busy working. Julia LOVED spending time with her cousins. It was non stop excitement. We spent the RAINY Saturday playing inside. You might notice in some of the pictures that Ella is in a ballet outfit. SHe tried out for "Company" on Saturday and made it! YAY Ella! Sunday was beautiful so we went to Taste of Marietta in the square. Ella and Jake are not able to make it to Julias birthday party so they threw a party for her. Needless to say she LOVES cookie cake.

Julia and I had a dance party after dinner tonight. I just love to watch her walk and found my flip video after "misplacing it" so feel I have to share thhe "wobbly" walk.

Julia started walking a week and half ago....and she has not stopped since then... She gets better and better everyday. We have had only a few bad falls and couple bumps so I think that is GREAT news!!! She is so proud of herself. She will walk a few steps then stop and clap her hands. LOVE IT!
