Watch me walk!

Julia started walking a week and half ago....and she has not stopped since then... She gets better and better everyday. We have had only a few bad falls and couple bumps so I think that is GREAT news!!! She is so proud of herself. She will walk a few steps then stop and clap her hands. LOVE IT!

I know everyone wants to see pictures from the BIG wedding this weekend. For those of you who do not know, Jay's little brother got married this weekend in Natchez, MS. I promise to post more pictures soon! Here is a quick peak...
Bailey and Amanda were the cutest couple! They are so happy and in love, it was wonderful to be apart of such an amazing occasion. Amandas family was so gracious and sure do know how to throw a party!

What a beautiful weekend!

What a wonderful weekend! The weather was beautiful and Julia is FINALLY over the stomach virus (thank goodness). We stayed home all last week and so excited to get outside. Jay was on call so Julia and I hit some garage sales, ran errands, walked Lexi ALOT and played on our swing. Jay was home most of the day Sunday and we got to visit with Sissy and Pop.

Just a typical morning.....

Julia and Lexi are hours of entertainment for me. Julia loves that dog and I think Lexi just may love her too =). Just wanted to share what a typical morning looks like at our house. I love my kids."Mom - Can Lexi have some Puffs????"
As Julia throws them on the floor..."Mom said no, but here you go anyway Lexi...."

It has been a while.....

So sorry it has been so long since our last post. We have been BUSY!! Since Julia started crawling, life is not the same. She is EVERYWHERE!!!! Guest bathroom is her favorite spot, not really sure why. She does laps around the house! It takes no time at all for her to be down the hall, in the next room.

Julia and Lexi (our 100 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback) are the best of friends. Julia feeds Lexi everything (amazing that Lexi has not accidentally bitten Julia - but she is so gentle with her). It makes dinner time very entertaining. We went to eat brunch the other day and Julia kept dropping her puffs on the floor and looking around for Lexi. If Julia is playing on the floor, you will find Lexi right beside her....licking her. It is a full time job trying to get her to stop but seems to be no use.

On a side note, please keep my family in your prayers. We have gone through a lot in the last year and looking for our luck to turn around. Also, my cousin Hilton is going through a touch battle with Leukemia. It amazes me everyday how positive he stays! Such an inspiration and he is a daily reminder that "LIFE IS GOOD!". My uncle is undergoing a hip replacement after falling a breaking his hip while on a cruise to Mexico. He was airlifted yesterday to Meridian MS and will undergo surgery in the morning.

Yesterday was my sweet nieces 7th Birthday! Happy Birthday Ella!
