I'm going to Graceland, Graceland... Memphis Tennessee

I had a work meeting in Memphis last week. My mom was so sweet to come up and go with me so we could take Julia (just not ready to leaver her overnight yet). We had a great time going out to eat, swimming (first time) and hanging out. On Saturday we went to Graceland!!! If you have never been, you should definitely go. Julia wearing her "I Love Exogen" bib when she was meeting the people I work with. Exogen is the bone stimulator we sell.

To Mimi's House we go....

Julia and I went to visit my parents down at the river when we had a week in between houses. I was exhausted after moving all of our belongings into a POD and to my friend Jacys house so I knew I needed a few days of rest.. before round 2 began. This was Julia's first visit to Mobile so she had lots of very important people to meet. We spent one afternoon with Jays grandparents, Aunt Faye and Barbara and cousin Claire. Julia had such a great time and loved getting to spend some time with the family!

And of course we had to see Uncle Buck!! Bailey and Amanda came to see her one night!

We are back... and in a new HOUSE!

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. It has been very hectic in the savage household. Since our last post, we sold our house, packed up our old house in a POD, where homeless for a week (well kind of), and moved into our new house. We are finally settled in and enjoying having so much room. Even Lexi is so happy bc she loves her new deck and huge yard. I have lots to post of our last month so stay tuned.

Julia has changed so much over the last month. She is just a smiling and still the happiest baby. She is also sleeping through the night which is wonderful! Here are a few pictures of her during the move!

Jays Grandparents came to Birmingham this week to meet Julia. We had dinner Sunday night at the Savages and then Julia spent the day with them on Monday. She had the best time getting to know her Great Grandparents. Here are the pictures from Sunday night.....

First trip to the lake

Julia went on her first of many trips to Smith Lake this past weekend. She had to best time. we went with our great friends Carrie, Ryan, Lynn and Sarah. Mrs. Sarah is so sweet and babysat Julia and Carli so we could play on the boat on Saturday. It was great to hang out and get some sun!

Happy One Month Miss Julia

I can not believe it - Julia is one month old. Time has flown by.... Jay had this past week off and it was WONDERFUL! I have to say that I am simply amazed at how wonderful of a father Jay is. I shouldn't be because he has always been so great with kids. He is so good with her - I have to give him props (hehe). We worked really hard all week on Julia getting on a better schedule. She is now eating 6 oz of breast milk every feeding every 4 hours and it is going longer at night (YAY). We had such a great week - I hated to see it end this morning. We all sat in bed and cuddled for 30 minutes or so while Jays alarm clock was going off.

Julia also got to meet her cousins this past week, Ella and Jake. They spent the day with us and we had such a great time. I have GREAT future babysitters. We can not wait for their next visit.

Also - Julia's friend arrived this past week, Logan Baldwin (son of Justin and Erin Baldwin). He was born June 1st and doing great! We cant wait to meet him.

We sold our house...

Can you believe it, we sold our house! Finally. We put it on the market when I was 11 weeks pregnant and closed on it this past Friday. It was such an exciting and sad day all at the same time. We love this old house... it is where Jay and I started our life together and we had some good times here. With Julia's arrival, we are sad to leave but so excited to get something a little bigger to accommodate our growing family. We have found a new home that we have a contract on. Set to close in 2 weeks so wish us luck. Set to close Friday June 12th, move in June 14th and 15th and have to be out of this house on the 16th. So if you have nothing to do Sunday or Monday, any help is greatly appreciated.
